Auxiliary Condenser

Our auxilary condenser is used as an intermediate condenser that is placed right before the cold trap on a short path kit. Using a small chiller to circulate through the jacket at ~5°C is good to knock down most of the water vapor and volatile fractions. This prevents your main vacuum trap from being overloaded and allows much faster progression through volatile fractions without worry of contaminating your pump. 

Gemstone model includes coil inside also for additional cooling power. 

Use with our double dewar trap for optional results.
