Heat Transfer Fluid
Formulated with 95.5% ethylene glycol and 4.5% industrial corrosion inhibitors. Virgin, non-recycled ethylene glycol is 100% pure to ensure a long lasting, non-corrosive fluid. The inhibitors are carefully designed to protect key metals commonly found in heat transfer systems, such as steel, copper, and brass, helping to minimize corrosion over time.
The fluid’s fluorescent pink dye helps with quick leak detection, making system monitoring easier. DOWTHERM™ SR-1 provides effective freeze protection when mixed with water, down to -50°C (-60°F) and burst protection down to -73°C (-100°F), ideal for extreme temperature conditions.
