Information

Goldleaf Scientific dispersers are sealed, so they can be used under vacuum, pressure and with viscous, foamy, and abrasive materials. This feature makes our dispersers unique among other homogenizers and has the widest variety of materials that can be homogenized (from thin liquids to thick viscous oils, and everything in between.) The dispersing tools have slanted rotor slots for fast processing and improved mixing turbulence.

The 40mm disperser shaft can be used with volumes from 5,000mL-20,000mL (depending on viscosity, see shaft selection guide below)

The DK40 continuous flow chambers can be used for applications that require a large quantity of material to be homogenized (up to 55 gal barrels)

Disbursing shafts have the same coupling system, allowing all the drive motors to accept multiple sizes of disperser shafts.

Motor Drive Compatible Shafts
X120 6mm, 10mm 17mm
X1000D 6-20mm
X1740 30mm, 40mm

The viscosity of the fluid should be used to determine the type of disperser to use.

See out table below or our shaft selection guide here

Shaft selection table

F=fine and should be used with light fluid such as water
N=neutral viscosity and can be used for water and light oils
M=blade type is particularly suited for shearing and creating emulsions
V=viscous and should be used for heavy and viscous fluids

Dispersing tools are sold complete with rotor and stators. Rotors and stators can be changed which can convert the shaft for other applications i.e convert a viscous shaft to a fine shaft. Replacement rotors and stators are available for all types of dispersing tools such as.

  • V-Disperser= V-Rotor + V-Stator
  • F-Disperser= F-Rotor + F-Stator
  • N-Disperser= F-Rotor + V-Stator
  • M-Knife Disperser= Rotor M + Stator M
