Essential Oil and Terpene Refinement System, Bench Top

This refinement system, is everything you need in one complete kit. We took a long time to develop the system and we obsessed over every small detail. Take comfort knowing that we included all the needed parts, SOP's, and instructions to get started right away. 

We have two styles of setup avilable with different sizes.

• The benchtop setup uses a magnetic stirrer to heat and stir the boiling flask. This setup is smaller and significantly cheaper, but cannot stir a heavy viscous fluid. 
• The other is a larger scale setup which uses a overhead stirrer to stir content of the boiling flask and a recirculating heater to heat the flask. Generally if you extract or refine your terpenes from a crude oil or concentrate then we recommend the production scale setup with the overhead stirrer. 

With a low viscosity high terpene sample the overhead stirring is not necessary but a thick crude oil or concentrate will require heavy stirring.  Another advantage is the responsive temperature control of the recirculating heater/chiller which is more stable and effective for low to ambient temperature distillations and can offer advanced tools like programmable temperature ramping. 

This kit does not include the chillers, or vacuum pump but we will list the specs and recommended models so you can purchase them separately

• Chiller for condenser -colder the better (at least -20°C or colder), 1.0kW or more cooling power for <5L, and  2.5kW cooling power for >5L 
• Chiller for Cold Trap-Immersion chiller at least -80°C
• Vacuum Pump-50 micron or less, 100L/min free air flow.
